Pam Anderson Stars in New Westwood Campaign
Posted by Kathleen Kane Categories: Celebrities, Fashion Designers, Models

Pam Anderson poses alongside Vivienne Westwood and her husband Andreas Kronthaler for the designer’s Gold Label collection.
In a myriad of colors, fabrics, and patterns that is so very Vivienne, the trio playfully present the line in a non-typical ad campaign fashion (check out more pictures after the jump).
This will be the second time Westwood picked Anderson to promote her line—last season, the Playboy cover girl walked the Milan and London catwalks on top of fronting the Spring/Season campaign.

Vogue Editorial Rips Off W
Posted by Kathleen Kane Categories: Editorials, Women

Someone at Condé Nast needs to start cross-referencing their editorials more often. September’s issue of Vogue features an editorial titled “Into the Woods,” which bears a striking resemblance to a 2007 editorial in W.
On top of the fact that both are Condé Nast publications, both editorials were shot by the same photographers—Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. I’m not sure if it’s worse that you copied yourself than it is if you copied another photographer in a different publication! Check out more of the copy-cat photos after the jump.

Look Book for Anna Sui’s Gossip Girl-esque Line Leaks
Posted by Kathleen Kane Categories: Fashion Designers, News, Girls, Women, Bottoms, Skirts, Dresses, Tops

As if the fall release date wasn’t torturous enough, fans of Anna Sui and Gossip Girl now have the look book to fawn over until then.
The nineteen looks (which you can see after the jump) are based upon the individual styles of Blair, Jenny, Vanessa, and Serena. Of all sets, I think that Blair’s classy, high-collared looks are the cutest; Serena’s monochrome would have won if it weren’t for the vest and leggings with bows. Jenny’s black, red, and white palette strike me as punk-inspired and have potential; however, I tend to fear the prints and patterns used. Vanessa’s set is very bohemian, although I’m not sure as to why they chose such an ugly palette of orange and brown.
You can expect to see Anna Sui’s line hit Target stores and online starting September 13.

Twitter Kicks: Our readers send us pics of their kicks
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Site Features, Men, Women, Footwear, Sneakers
A couple of days ago, we hit up the Chic Dish Twitter account and asked our followers to send in a picture of the kicks that they were wearing at that very moment. It was an experiment, and if 20 responses came in, we would have given a $20 Zappos gift certificate away randomly to one of the submitters. Unforunately, we only got 17 submissions, so no giveaway on this one—however, we are going to do this regularly, so be on the lookout, and be sure to follow Chic Dish on Twitter.
That said, we had a great time checking out the submissions, all of which you can find after the jump, along with the Twitter user who sent it in. Go take a look, and let us know what you think - any favorites?
Edit: Okay, we are getting a few questions about the roll of toilet paper in the above photo—we checked with @pinksage, and apparently, she has “the sniffles” and was too lazy, or broke (have you seen the economy lately), to do it up right and grab a box of Kleenex.

It seems that a lot of my female friends are pregnant; something in the water they say? So I could not resist parousing a few sites to check out the options for baby shower gifts that will allow my friends’ little ones to come into this world in style. If you are anything like me, or like any other woman I suppose, you absolutely love to shop for baby clothes. It takes us back to the times of picking out the most fashionable duds and accessories available for our Barbies. I have picked out a few of these must-have’s for that special baby in your life.
The Apple Bottoms Infant Light Weight Gold Jacket jacket is the cutest thing I have seen in a long time, and is just $30. Matched with the Apple Bottoms Infant Kiki Sneakers ($17), and these Baby Phat Infant Printed Belt Boot Cut Jean ($19), your baby girl will be the hippest infant in her playgroup.
If you love pink (as most little girls do,) this adorable Apple Bottoms Infant Flocked Bomber Jacketwill bring you back to when you wish you were a “pink lady.” This one can be had for about $30, over 50% off the original price.
Let’s finish off with a couple more pieces of cute footwear. These Timberland Nordic Freeze Crib Booties are exactly what your hip baby needs to show off their street smarts and to keep their tiny toes all warm and snug, or they also come in dark blue for that little man of yours, and best of all, they are around $10! These are at a deep discount though, so you have to move quick to acquire these cute kicks.
Target Women: A look at the hilarity of holiday jewelry
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Videos, Women, Jewelry
You’ve gotta admit, this episode of Target Women is fairly hysterical. I mean, how often do we see those commercials on TV where a guys surprises his girl with some sort of diamond-encrusted piece of jewelry, which then portrays the woman to be just about the happiest person on earth? We’re just happy that someone has finally taken these advertisers to task. Nice work. Your thoughts?
