Fashion Police: Kendra Wilkinson Bundles Up in Snuggie

Kendra Wilkinson in her Snuggie

Much like Crocs, Snuggies are an abomination to the fashion industry (if one dares to even include them as such products) that somehow produce a viral effect. Despite Snuggie’s laughable appearance at New York Fashion Week, The Girls Next Door reality star Kendra Wilkinson has fallen into the product’s comfy charms.

Quote of the Day: Lady Gaga Takes Styling Cues From Art

Lady Gaga and her art-inspired outfits

“My Jean-Paul Goude [Matthew Williams was] the inspiration that made the connection for me between the art world and the fashion world. He used to say things like ‘If you want to make a shoulder pad, don’t research jackets—research sculpture, mineral rocks, paintings.’ He thinks in a different way; he is the designer of the future.”

- High fashion lover Lady Gaga on finding the styling link between art and fashion.

Victoria Beckham Praises Emma Watson

Victoria Beckham on Harper's Bazaar

If we haven’t convinced you to love Emma Watson, perhaps Victoria Beckham can!

Even though Beckham’s range boasts customers like Elle Macpherson, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Lopez, and Blake Lively, the pop star-turned-designer says that she’d love to dress the Harry Potter starlet: “[Emma is] so sweet, so true to herself. There are so many young girls wearing too much make-up, too much hairspray—I find that very dated.”

So whose celebrity style does Beckham admire?

Katie Holmes and Suri Wear Matching Dresses

Katie Holmes and daughter Suri in matching outfits

Judging by a photo taken of Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri, the actress-turned-designer wasn’t kidding about that children’s collection; I was hoping she would at least spare the kids.

In the picture, Holmes and her mature daughter stepped out in matching red dresses from her range, Holmes & Yang.

I’m still in shock that Maxfield actually chose these designs over Victoria Beckham’s creations. Holmes could at least try to make her outfit look good (Suri, on the other hand, looks adorable)—is her stylist too busy sewing more ugly products?

Fashion Police: X Factor Contestant Steps Out in New Uggs

Stacey Solomon in new season's Ugg boots

The impossible has been done: UGG boots got uglier. I didn’t think it feasible until I found this picture of X Factor contestant Stacey Solomon, who stepped out in this season’s new UGG boots.

Not only are the boots monochrome striped (Beetlejuice, anyone?), but they are knitted! I refuse to accept the “They’re comfortable” excuse—there’s absolutely no reason to be caught wearing these in public, especially if they look like winter socks.

Lady Gaga on the Gossip Girl set

Fashion-lovers, get ready to set your DVR on The CW for November 16th—Lady Gaga will be strutting her acting chops on Gossip Girl!

The episode, titled “The Last Days of Disco Stick,” features Blair (Leighton Meester) arranging a secret Gaga show. The popstar herself is set to perform her latest single, “Bad Romance” on the small screen.

Meester describes Gaga’s style as “very avant-garde and kind of gothic.” It’s certainly no surprise, considering her crimson costume with outer pastries (above) is reportedly 30 feet long!

Aside from having a vested interest in fashion, Gaga reveals that she had another reason for guest starring: “My little sister is the hugest Gossip Girl fan ever.”

Demi Moore Fronts Fragrance Campaign

Demi Moore for Helena Rubinstein Fragrances

Perfume campaigns are still all the rage (just ask Hayden Christensen, Enrique Iglesias, and Justin Timberlake!), and Demi Moore is hopping right onto that trend, fronting the ad campaign for Helena Rubinstein’s latest fragrance.

While she doesn’t necessary fit the title of the alluring perfume, “All You’ve Ever Wanted” (I mean, ever since she got hitched, does anyone care?), Moore fits perfectly in the photo. Well, if you don’t count that awkward arm holding the bottle. And who’s that weird guy by her neck? Where’s Ashton!

Emma Watson Designs Line For People Tree

Emma Watson pulls a Lindsay and takes advisor role at People TreeLet’s face it, an Emma Watson clothing range was always in the works ever since magazines and Karl Lagerfeld took the fashionista under their wing. It has finally arrived—and it’s an ethical one, too!

The Harry Potter actress has teamed up with People Tree for the new collection, which is aimed at people aged 16 to 24.

“I was excited by the idea of using fashion as a tool to alleviate poverty and knew it was something I could help make a difference with. I think young people like me are becoming increasingly aware of the humanitarian and environmental issues surrounding fast fashion and want to make good choices but there aren’t many options out there.”

Emma, who is the face of Burberry, has taken on the role of creative advisor for the new line (Lindsay Lohan?), which comprises cotton skirts, T-shirts, jersey garments and jewelery.

She tried to inject some of her own personal style into the pieces and used her favorite locations, including South France, London, and music festivals, as inspiration.

There are 26 women’s pieces and 15 men’s looks in the range, which is largely made from organic and fairly traded cotton. The collection is handmade by fair trade groups and helps people make money in Bangladesh, India, and Nepal.

Karl Lagerfeld Praises Lily Allen

Karl Lagerfeld with new face of Chanel, Lily AllenIn shocking Chanel news, Karl Lagerfeld asked Lily Allen to front his latest collection because she is “young, cool and extremely witty.”

The creative director of Chanel, who will launch their new Coco Cocoon line in two weeks, asked the outspoken British singer to appear in the advertising campaign because of her lifestyle and sense of humor.

“I love Lily Allen. She looks a lot like Gabrielle Chanel, and she is a self-made woman. She is cool, young and extremely witty.”

The pair recently posed in front of the cameras with the brand’s new luxury range of sportswear bags for a promotional drive.
